The Guild at Adventist Health Glendale
The Guild is comprised of compassionate volunteers and adults of all ages who share a common interest to support Adventist Health Glendale and its fundraising efforts. Membership is an excellent way to meet new friends who are dedicated to serving our hospital and patients.
A merger of the Foundation’s Cancer Care Guild and the Founders Guild formed The Guild at Adventist Health Glendale in 2018. The guild’s missions remain the same, which is fundraising for the Cancer Center, the children’s Play to Learn Center, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the day care center.
The Guild is made up of two committees to develop initiatives and help improve the health of our community and its surrounding areas.

Cancer Care Committee fundraising helps provide free services through Ingeborg’s Place Apart and the Positive Image Center. Services are available to anyone diagnosed with cancer, regardless of where they are receiving treatment. We help patients live a more positive life by providing them with:
- Wigs and scarves.
- Counseling and support groups.
- Fitness classes such as yoga and dance.
- Classes in jewelry making, knitting and creative writing.
Cancer Care Committee fundraisers help celebrate the courage of survivors and those who are dedicated to fighting cancer. These events include Laugh 4 a Cause, an evening of comedy and pure laughter for the soul, and the Courage Awards, a wonderful celebration of the brave and courageous who have made a difference.
Children’s Committee fundraising helps to benefit the Play to Learn Center, which serves special needs children from birth through adolescence, and the hospital’s NICU, which is recognized as one of the finest in Southern California. The annual Be Our Valentine Luncheon and other social events gather giving hearts to help fundraise and serve the needs of our growing children.
