Due to high patient volumes resulting from our most recent COVID-19 surge, our emergency department wait times are longer than usual. When to Seek Emergency Care

Some cases of COVID-19 cause symptoms and complications that need emergency care. If have the following symptoms go to your nearest ER or call 9-1-1 if any of the following symptoms occur:
• Difficulty breathing
• Persistent chest pain
• Bluish lips or face
• Sudden confusion
• Inability to awaken

Other emergency concerns include:
• Chest pain
• Difficulty breathing
• Severe bleeding or trauma
• Loss of consciousness
• Loss of or blurred vision
• High, uncontrolled fever
• Head injuries
• Burns
• Severe abdominal pain
• Broken bones
