Continuity Clinic

Diverse Patient Population including: Hispanic, Armenian, Korean, Filipino, etc.

On average a residents’ practice consists of 22% pediatric, 30% geriatric, 65% adult women.

Every attempt is made to maintain continuity of care for patients; as such each resident is assigned as PCP with their own patient panel.

Patient Visits:

  • 1st year: 1-2 half-day sessions/week, 3-5 pts per session
  • 2nd year: 3 half-day sessions/week, 6-8 pts per session
  • 3rd year: 4-5 half-day sessions/week, 8-10 pts per session

*Supervision is provided at every visit.

Primary Strengths:

  • In-office specialty clinics: Dermatological procedures, pediatrics, psychiatry, orthopedics, women’s health and cardiology.
  • Our friendly and supportive nursing and ancillary staff; including social worker and psychologist

1st Year:

6 weeks inpatient day coverage

6 weeks inpatient night float

5-7 weekend cross covers

6 weeks OB in-hospital coverage

4 weeks inpatient pediatric coverage

2nd Year:

6-8 weeks inpatient day coverage

2-4 weeks inpatient night float

3-4 weekend cross covers

6 weeks OB home call

6 weeks ER pediatric coverage
