COVID-19 Crisis Response – Adventist Health Shared Services associates seeking to apply for assistance or to donate to our relief efforts may do so below

The Caring Connection was developed by Adventist Health to exemplify sacred work within the workplace through an employee outreach program at the corporate office. The program is sponsored and operated by Adventist Health corporate employees and is designed to provide service to those fellow employees in times of extreme personal crisis or urgent need. Funding for the program has been established and maintained through charitable donations from generous employee supporters. In addition, Adventist Health provides matching funds to a maximum of $4,000 per year. Employees may:

Who can request assistance?

The program applies to all Adventist Health corporate employees who work onsite at the Roseville offices as well as offsite employees. It is important to note that, as a family of caring people, supervisors and co-workers are encouraged to first identify the needs of those in their work groups and respond accordingly from the department. If additional support is needed, the work group should then request Caring Connection assistance. An example of this would be for a department to provide a fellow employee with a meal and seek additional meals or other forms of assistance through the Caring Connection. If you or someone you know within our employee family could benefit from the services that the Caring Connection provides, or if you have questions, please contact a committee member. All requests are held in strict confidence.

What type of assistance is available?

The Caring Connection provides assistance in a variety of situations on a case-by-case basis, after the committee has carefully reviewed the specific set of circumstances for each request. The most common form of assistance is financial help in times of extreme personal crisis (greatest need)
