Hospital & Clinic Update

The good news is that part of the upper level of the hospital is standing, as is OB, ED, Outpatient Surgery Center, Home Health, Cancer Center and Sleep Medicine. That said, the lower level of the hospital, the chiller and utility area and most of the other outbuildings did sustain damage. Please know this is not an entire list. We are still assessing the situation to determine the full extent of the damage of all buildings.

The good news is that Adventist Health Medical Office on Skyway is standing, as is Feather Canyon and Quail Run clinics. Again, this is not the entire list. We are still assessing the situation to determine the full extent of the damage of these locations. We will keep you updated as we learn more about those details.

We are activating provider teams from Rideout who can help with urgent needs with clinic patients. Once we have the plan solidified and we know the location, we will keep you notified.

Clinics Services Reopening

Adventist Health Feather River physicians and providers will be available for patient appointments at two clinic locations that are currently open. Our goal is to meet our patients’ needs as best we can with this interim solution while our Paradise community is still evacuated and our clinics are being assessed for damage.

Ways People Can Help

Many have asked how they can support the immediate needs of our colleagues and communities impacted by this disaster. At this time we have several opportunities for helping those in need.

1. Make financial donations by going to and contributing to the Fire Assistance Fund

2. If you can provide temporary housing, please utilize the resources Airbnb has made available at

As the need for in-kind donations grows, we will communicate those needs with you, but at this time these are the only forms of assistance we are requesting. As more information becomes available we will post information to
