The Heartsaver® CPR AED course provides training in CPR (with a mask) and relief of choking for the adult, child, and infant victim as well as certification in the use of an AED. This course is designed for individuals and companies that require CPR and AED certification for any non-healthcare related field. This class is perfect for those who want to receive training in CPR, relief of choking, and the AED without some of the more technical aspects included in the Healthcare Provider level class.

Intended Audience 
The Heartsaver® CPR AED course is designed for individuals and companies that require CPR and AED certification for any non-healthcare related field such as teachers, construction workers, fitness trainers, coaches, electricians, scout leaders, police officers, firefighters, and more. This course is also appropriate for the general community member who wants to learn CPR and AED skills for his/her own knowledge such as new parents, grandparents, babysitters, teens, friends, family, and neighbors.

Renewal - This course is intended for individuals who possess a current* AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED card. You MUST show proof of your current AHA card to the instructor at the beginning of class to take a renewal course.

Course is offered free of charge to clinical CMC associates. For all others, payment can be made by check, cash, or credit card at the time of the class. 

* Current means you are taking the class on or before the “recommended date-of-renewal”. The American Heart Association honors the card the entire month in which it expires. There is NO grace period.
Please bring your payment with you to the class in the form of cash, check, or credit card.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for the course, except for a portion of fees needed for the AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association.
