Well, I was in Dr. Rices office. I had to have a procedure. Dr. Rice explained it completely before hand explained the risks and the benefits and he showed compassion and caring about my situation. I so appreciate that. He acted quickly and concern for my eye sight.

Dr Rice is very knowledgeable, listened and answered all my questions and gave me an option for care in addition to fulfilling my standard eye exam and Rx need. He even ordered special tests for me in the past when I had health concerns. He doesn't do or say anything truly off-putting. He just comes across as disengaged and mildly condescending. My mother literally asked me this week for an eye doctor recommendation. I told her Dr Rice is an excellent practitioner and I trust him with my medical care. It's just that his manner was less friendly than most doctors I have interacted with.
