About
Dr. Brittney Mensen is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She graduated from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia and did her residency at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. She recently worked as both an internal medicine physician and inpatient hospitalist at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. She is a former NCAA Division 1 athlete and prior to pursuing medicine as a career she worked as a personal trainer, designing programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. That experience taught her to “think outside the box” and provide care that is highly individualized to each patient. She is married and has two cats and in her free time enjoys hiking, trail running and snowshoeing.
