Matching Donations

Double or triple the impact of your gift to Adventist Health Delano Foundation! Many companies have a matching gift program that matches part or all of their employees’ gifts to charities. Contact your Human Resource Department to see if your company offers a matching gift program.

Gifts of Securities

Gifts of appreciated securities, such as stocks and bonds, offer substantial tax advantages, including forgiveness of the tax on capital gains and a charitable income tax deduction for their fair market value. To maximize your capital gains savings, we encourage you to transfer securities directly to the foundation rather than selling them and then making a cash donation.

Principle and Major Gifts

Many individuals wish to make a major investment in the future of the medical center. Perhaps they've received superb care and would like to support the medical center's patient care programs. Or, they may wish to fund clinical research to help the medical center find better treatment options. Regardless of the motivation, philanthropy makes a lasting impact on the medical center's mission.

Planned Gifts

By remembering Adventist Health Delano Foundation in your estate plans, you can leave a meaningful mark on the medical center’s work that spans beyond your years. In fact, many donors find that through bequests, they are able to make a significant philanthropic commitment more comfortably than doing so during their lifetime. Many types of planned and life income gifts also offer benefits to donors and their families in addition to the charitable support provided to the medical center.

We encourage you to seek advice from your personal legal/tax counsel in determining your individual charitable tax deductions.
