SURGICAL SERVICES MANAGER:
OR, Full-time

Responsible to ensure that Surgical Services patient care is delivered in accordance with the Mission and Philosophy of DRMC and in compliance with HFAP standards and all other state and federal regulations. The Manager establishes annual goals and objectives and a budget that supports DRMC strategic operational and Performance Improvement plans. The Manager is responsible for the development of the unit leadership that is capable of meeting goals, recruiting and retaining staff, mentoring and coaching staff, conserving material resources and developing positive relationships with patients, physicians and families. California RN license, AA degree in Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of Five (5) years progressive management/supervisory experience in surgical services required.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

A Speech Pathologist/ Therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides Speech therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. Prepares report of patient status and program of care for third party payers. Knowledgeable in industrial rehabilitation care, orthopedic rehabilitation, neuro-muscular disease and injury, cardio-vascular, traumatic brain and spinal cord rehabilitation and pain management. Must obtain current Licensure in Speech and Language Therapy in the State of California and Certified by ASHA for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech and Language Pathology.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST

Imaging Services, Per-Diem

Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures including invasive procedures. Positions and instructs the patient, operates Imaging equipment and determines the technical factors. Insures correct marketing/labeling of all images. Adheres to the State of California Radiation Safety Regulations as it applies to worker and patient safety. Provides and confirms proper documentation of procedures requested/performed, patient history, etc. to assist in diagnosis. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement. May be assigned as an instructor in areas of specific competence. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Minimum Graduation from AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, CRT, and ARRT, CRT fluoro permit, Venipuncture certification.

Is responsible for accurate and timely abstracting and coding of medical diagnosis (ICD10-CM) and procedures (CPT) to ensure maximum reimbursement per rules and regulations and timely submission of date. The Medical Record Radiology Profee, Interventional Radiology and Outpatient Coder will perform these services within the context of DRMC’s mission, goals, and objectives. Minimum: CPC or CCS Certification preferred and /or 3 years of experience in lieu of Certification.

LEAD CODER

Functions as an integral member of the Information Management Team under the direction and supervision of the Medical Records/HIM Manager. Is responsible for accurate and timely abstracting and coding of medical diagnosis (ICD10-CM) and procedures (CPT/ICD10-CM) to ensure maximum reimbursement per rules and regulations and timely submission of data. The Medical Record Lead Coder will provide oversight and supervision of 4-5 coders. Minimum of High School graduate or GED. Prefer two (2) years of college, including courses in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic drugs and treatment. Must have hospital experience coding ICD10-CM and CPT with experience in maximization of reimbursement issues per rules and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form. Basic computer skills.
