COPE Health Scholars

The COPE Health Scholars programs at Adventist Health Castle provides pre-health professionals unprecedented access to direct patient care and administrative positions. Program participants become valuable members of the care team alongside nurses, physicians and allied health professionals in clinical and business settings.
Program participants receive training to assist in basic patient care tasks as they rotate among the different departments within the medical center.

In addition to direct patient care experience, the COPE Health Scholars programs offer:

  • Experiential education through a structured course certified by UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health
  • Mentoring with working health care professionals
  • Seminars with guest speakers and health care panels
  • Test-prep service discounts
  • Networking events
  • And much more...

To be successful in the program, you must be a self-starter and a motivated individual. For more information, visit http://copehealthscholars.org/.
