Adventist Health Sonora welcomes Janelle Park, MD, to the Diana J. White Cancer Institute

Adventist Health Sonora is pleased to welcome board-certified Radiation Oncologist, Janelle Park, MD, to the Diana J. White Cancer Institute.

Dr. Park has over 15 years of clinical experience and has cared for more than 4,000 patients so far in her career. Families benefit from Dr. Park’s patient-centered approach and expertise using state-of-the-art technology to treat many types of cancer including breast, gastrointestinal, head and neck, lung, and prostate cancers. Dr. Park works with each patient to develop specific care plans, utilizing some of the most advanced cancer treatments available today.

“I am blessed to have found a specialty that is so rewarding,” Dr. Park explains about following her life-long goal of becoming a physician. “Radiation Oncology is such an amazing field, combining advanced, cutting-edge technology with true compassion and care.”

Dr. Park is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and completed her residency training in Radiation Oncology at LAC + University of Southern California. She earned her medical degree from The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Ohio State University College of Medicine and undergraduate degree in Biology from Columbia University in New York, New York. Her experience includes caring for patients in private practice, the Veterans Administration, and in multidisciplinary group practices. In her previous roles, Dr. Park has established innovative treatment options for breast and prostate cancers.

Prior to relocating to Sonora, Dr. Park practiced in Florida for the last 12 years. In her time away from work, she enjoys reading, gardening, hiking and travel.
