Adventist Health Lodi Memorial names new operations executive

Employee News

June 12, 2018 – Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has announced the appointment of Brooke McCollough as the organization’s new operations executive. McCollough, who previously served as the medical center’s executive director of Quality & Physician Services, began her new role on June 11, and reports to Daniel Wolcott, president of Adventist Health Lodi Memorial.

“We have selected Brooke to serve on our executive team because of her proven track record of getting things done. During her tenure in leading our quality, medical staff and accreditation departments, we have decreased patient harm, increased medical staff engagement and successfully completed several surveys,” Wolcott said. “Brooke also has strong relationships with our leaders, staff, physicians and community. I look forward to her playing a bigger role in moving us toward world class.”

As operations executive, McCollough will be responsible for food services, facilities, organizational transformation, in addition to continuing to provide interim leadership to the areas she currently supports. Over time, the lab and therapy departments will be supported by the operations executive.

McCollough, who began her career at the Lodi hospital in 2007, has managed multiple departments, as well as hospital-wide performance improvement activities and accreditation and licensing surveys. She initiated rapid cycle improvement and daily safety huddles for reducing harm events, a process that has decreased harm by 44 percent over two years. She also led the hospital in Joint Commission Hospital and Laboratory surveys that resulted in full accreditation.

Brooke holds a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in human resources from University of Colorado in Boulder, and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in health industry leadership from Regis University in Denver, Colo. She and her husband, Matt, live in Lodi with their 3-year-old son, Bennett.
