General

SELMA -  Adventist Health Medical Office in Selma is welcoming Crystal Zimmer. She is now caring for children and adults.

Zimmer got her start in medicine as a Medical Surgical RN in El Paso, Texas. She has been working as an RN at Adventist Health since 2013. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Towson University, Md. and recently completed the Family Nurse Practitioner Program through Simmons School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Boston, Mass.

She was inspired to practice medicine after seeing how nurses impacted her mother’s experience during cancer treatment. She is dedicated to creating a personalized experience for her patients.

“The most important thing is them,” she says of her patients. “And they’ll get my undivided attention.”

While she takes care of family medicine patients Zimmer will also be learning the ENT specialty under the guidance of Dr. Mike S. Shin, Board-Certified Otolaryngologist and Surgeon also with Adventist Health. She will learn about the broad specialty, including facial plastic surgery and aesthetics.

Zimmer came to the Central Valley thanks to her husband’s military assignment. She says she is enjoying her time at Adventist Health and the opportunities the organization provides.

She may be reached at Adventist Health Medical Office – Selma, 1041 Rose Ave., with a phone number of (559)-856-6090.
