Experienced Certified PA caring for GI and hepatology patients in Selma

General

SELMA – Mikhail A. Alper, PA-C, is now caring for gastroenterology and hepatology patients at Adventist Health Medical Office – Selma.

Gastroenterology and hepatology became Alper’s specializations while he was doing research in those fields during his time studying at Stanford. He is passionate about helping patients get well and often cares for patients with serious liver disease.

Alper grew up in Moscow and says his father put him on the path to study medicine.  He completed medical training and an Ear, Nose and Throat Residency Program at Russian National Research Medical University (formerly 2nd Moscow State Medical University). He then completed the Primary Care Associate Program at Stanford University School of Medicine. With more than 17 years of experience practicing medicine, Alper says his father, “picked the correct passion for me, I love what I’m doing.”

“My motto is to take care of your patients the way you’d like to be taken care of,” he says.

Alper’s wife works as a pediatrician in the Central Valley which brought the couple to the area. They both like the community here.

Beyond serving the community through medicine, Alper also teaches. He’s part of the faculty for the Nurse Practitioner Program at Fresno Pacific University.

He may be reached at Adventist Health Medical Office – Selma, 1041 Rose Ave., with a phone number of (559)-856-6090.
