Joint & Spine Center presentation: “Neck and Back Pain, minimally invasive surgical options”

Dr. Beringer will discuss common spine disorders and both non-surgical and surgical options to alleviate neck and back pain. The latest in minimally invasive spine surgery, as well as artificial disc replacement also will be covered in this free seminar.

Eat Well for Life cooking demonstration: Indian Tikka Masala

Traditional Indian Tikka Masala made with a homemade curry paste, coconut cream, and locally sourced veggies. This dish is served with a slightly spicy cilantro chutney, homemade gluten-free garlic naan that you can make at home, and light basmati rice. This is a vegan, demonstration-style class. Diabetes Education Group Class
Five weekly sessions, starting Tues., Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. or Wed., Sept. 6 at 9 a.m.
Adventist Health Castle Wellness & Lifestyle Medicine Center
Insurance accepted as well as self-pay.
Led by a Diabetes Educator, this series of five sessions is designed to transform the way you learn about and manage Type II diabetes. Each session is interactive and informative. Program includes “Type 2 BASICS” book. Family members or caregivers are also welcome to attend, but please reserve a spot in advance.
