New Provider Dedicated to Women's Health

REEDLEY – Yanira Pacheco, who was a registered nurse for 10 years, loved sharing joyous moments with pregnant women so much that she decided to further her education and become a certified nurse practitioner. She’s now fulfilling her dream job at Community Care – Reedley Women’s Health.

Pacheco was born in Fresno and raised in New London -- a small town near Dinuba. While attending Reedley College, her counselor advised her to study nursing. After graduating with an Associates of Arts Degree, she took that advice and attended California State University Fresno, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and later a Master’s as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.

“Women’s health is a happier side of medicine, because women are pregnant and anticipating welcoming a new life into the world,” she says. “I am overjoyed to be able to share such memorable moments with them.”

In her free time, Pacheco enjoys cycling, traveling and exploring new restaurants with her daughter. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Pacheco may be reached at Community Care – Reedley Women’s Health, 550 West Cypress Ave., with a phone number of (559) 391-3115.
