New Family Medicine Provider in Selma


SELMA – A family medicine physician who spent three years caring for patients in Hanford is excited to build relationships in Selma.

Dr. Eugene Aquino has joined Adventist Health Physicians Network - Selma, where he will care for children and adults.

He is a recent graduate of Adventist Health / Community Care – Hanford Family Medicine Residency. During his training, Dr. Aquino said, he learned a lot about patients in the Central Valley and how to manage their care.

“The key to having successful outcomes is to be a partner in helping people lead healthful lives,” he says.

Dr. Aquino was born in Chicago. He graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s in Philosophy and earned a Master’s in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University of Chicago. He earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. Following medical school, Dr. Aquino spent one year as a family medicine resident at Siouxland Medical Education Foundation Inc. in Iowa before joining the Hanford residency program.

In his free time, he enjoys participating in triathlons, hiking and traveling.
