Expanding Urology Services at Adventist Health

HANFORD – For 17 years, Dr. Jeffrey Csiszar has been providing urological care to Adventist Health patients. He began at Hanford Community Hospital and Central Valley General Hospital in 2000, then opened private practices in Selma and Hanford. Now, the board-certified urologist has joined Adventist Health Physicians Network in Hanford and Medical Office – Hanford Specialty.

Dr. Csiszar cares for both children and adults with general urology issues. His focus is on female urology (incontinence), prostate, bladder and kidney cancer, as well as kidney stones.

“Urology services have always been in high demand, but short supply in small towns,” says Dr. Csiszar, “so by joining this network and expanding our presence in the clinics, we’ll be able to care for more patients.”

David Oberst, certified physician assistant at Adventist Health’s Medical Office – Hanford Primary, will partner with Dr. Csiszar and care for patients at Physicians Network in Hanford and at Hanford Specialty. Oberst has been with Adventist Health for 11 years, and with Dr. Csiszar’s office for four years.

“Dr. Csiszar genuinely cares about his patients,” says Oberst. “I can ask a question about a specific patient, and he’ll know exactly what’s going on with their care. He’s an excellent surgeon.”

Urology services also will be offered by Ryan Casey, certified Family nurse practitioner at Medical Office – Dinuba Plaza and Physicians Network in Hanford, under the direction of Dr. Csiszar. Other advanced practice providers caring for patients at the Physicians Network office in Hanford include Brenda Tidwell, certified family nurse practitioner and Vagan Chakarian, physician assistant.
