Pediatrician Joins Community Care

A pediatrician with 23 years of experience has joined Adventist Health / Community Care - Dinuba West and Kingsburg.

“I enjoy the Central Valley,” says Dr. Niazi Sidhom. “The people here have strong values and are family-oriented. I will never leave the Valley.”

Dr. Sidhom grew up in Egypt and attended medical school at Alexandria University. He completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at El Galaa Hospital in Tripoli, Libya, and practiced obstetrics for four years before discovering a passion for pediatrics.

He completed his pediatric residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., and at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Ill.

“I care for my young patients as if they were my own children,” says Dr. Sidhom. “Whatever is good for my kids is good for my patients.”

Dr. Sidhom has been married for 26 years and has two adult children. His son will attend medical school in Ireland in August and his daughter is studying architecture at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
