Rideout Health is Pleased to Announce Phase III of the Rideout Emergency Department Will Expand Patient Care Into the Rideout Regional Medical Cente

Rideout Press Releases

Marysville, August 2016 – On August 17, 2016, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) determined that the Rideout Emergency Department can expand into the new Rideout Regional Medical Center building and can begin serving patients immediately.

The opening of the new building allows for the further expansion of our emergency department and trauma service, adding 16 additional beds and an expanded triage area.

One of the biggest changes in our expanded ED is a separate entrance for walk-in patients and a streamlined registration and triage path, to move patients expeditiously to one of our dedicated treatment rooms.

A New Entrance for the Rideout Emergency Department:

Starting at 6 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016, patients should come directly to the new Emergency Department entrance on 3rd Street between F and H Streets in Marysville. Signage and a Rideout Courtesy Staff member will help direct patients to the new location.

Parking is available in front of the new E.D. and in the lots surrounding the campus area.

Rideout's Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center and the only STEMI-receiving center serving Yuba, Sutter and parts of Nevada, Butte and Colusa Counties.
