GAMC Awarded Bloomingdale's Perpetual Grant

Community Partnerships

Bloomingdale’s, New York, has awarded GAMC a perpetual corporate grant to support free services to cancer survivors provided by the Cancer Center’s Positive Image Center/Ingeborg’s Place Apart. The Positive Image Center was nominated by the executive staff in Bloomingdale’s Glendale store. The initial amount of the grant is $2,000 and is projected to be renewed annually.

Wiley Bartine, vice president/general manager of Bloomingdale’s Glendale store, and Hallie Freeman, marketing director, visited the hospital recently to get acquainted with GAMC associates and meet several cancer survivors who, at the time, were busy knitting caps for Cancer Center patients.

“We are very pleased to support this program and the hospital,” said Bartine, who is looking forward to Bloomingdale’s building an ongoing relationship with GAMC.

Thank you to Bloomingdale’s for their support!
