GAMC Marketing Wins Prestigious Awards

Awards & Recognition

Two leading professional organizations in health care marketing honored GAMC’s Marketing and Communications Department with prestigious awards for excellence in publications, advertising campaigns and design.

Source, GAMC’s monthly internal newsletter, earned a coveted Gold Aster, the highest award in an elite competition recognizing the nation's most talented health care marketing professionals. With a larger, more creative and colorful design, Source is now one of the most read publications in the hospital! In addition, Silver Asters were awarded to The Americana at Brand kiosk ad campaign for poster design and the John Stauffer Charitable Trust Community Health Van for outdoor transit advertising.

The Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Association (HPRMA) honored GAMC’s marketing staff with Southern California regional awards for the Glendale Galleria Sky Banner ad campaign and The Americana at Brand kiosks for Best Hospital, Best Nurses and Fastest Heart Attack Treatment time campaigns. Competition was stiff, with 181 entries submitted representing 26 different organizations.

“I am proud of the Marketing Department for all their hard work. They have truly shown their creativity, strategic planning and execution to be award-winning,” said Ramella Markarian, VP, business development. “We have more great marketing and outreach ideas planned for GAMC in our communities, including regional marketing initiatives. Stay tuned!”
