SJCH Dedicates Serenity Room Thanks to Generous Donations

Philanthropy Today San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH) had the privilege of dedicating a brand new area in our Emergency Department called the Serenity Room. The Serenity Room will be used as a place for families to gather and be briefed on a family member's condition or to say their goodbyes after a loved one has passed in the ER.

The Serenity Room was made possible thanks to generous donations made by Doug and Janet Clary along with Clark and Pam Gustafson from Optimal Health Services. This new room gives families a better place to cope with a life changing event and helps them make arrangements or grieve in a private setting. SJCH is grateful to the Clary Family for making this much needed space a reality.
