Adventist Health Medical Group Welcomes Family Nurse Practitioner

Adventist Health Medical Group is pleased to welcome Dana Sineath, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, to its family medicine team. Sineath’s practice is rooted in personalized coaching and care to guide patients through their own health improvement.

“I believe that ultimately self-care is the most powerful medicine,” says Sineath. “Providing personalized coaching to my patients directly impacts their health and the health of their families. Through listening to the patient’s concerns, I work in partnership with them to identify and manage their individual health needs.”

Sineath began her career in marketing, promotion and development for communications firms in North Carolina. Years after finishing college, Sineath decided to pursue nursing and earned her bachelor’s degree from Winston-Salem State University before going on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner credentialing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

She held an internship in a medical intensive care unit at Baptist Hospital in North Carolina as a RN. Sineath has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the areas of family medicine, bariatric medicine, and dermatology in North Carolina, Georgia, and Pendleton, Oregon.

Sineath and her family moved from Georgia to Pendleton, OR in 2008 where she began working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center.

Dana and husband, Eric, have twin boys, Sam and Ethan, who are sophomores at Walla Walla Valley Academy. She enjoys cooking, gardening, the performing arts, and spending time with her family and friends.
