Physician Assistant Serving the Community

Physicians

Ndzeu Heu was inspecting cars in Fresno, as he did every day as a smog technician, when the 30-year-old realized he wanted to do more for the Central Valley.

He had moved to Fresno from France at the age of 10, and began farming with his family and a large Hmong community.

“I felt like I owed it to the Central Valley to do more,” says Heu. “The community had taken such good care of me and my family, so I wanted to take care of the community.”

He went back to school to become an imaging technologist and worked at Sierra Kings District Hospital for five years before it became Adventist Medical Center – Reedley.

Heu was so fascinated with how the human body worked that he decided to return to school once more to become a certified physician assistant. He graduated from the physician assistant program at San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia.

Heu now cares for patients at Adventist Health / Community Care - Dinuba West, 250 W. El Monte Way and at Adventist Health / Community Care - Kingsburg, 1251 Draper St.

“I truly feel blessed, honored and privileged to have the opportunity to be a part of the Adventist Health family again,” he says.

When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 16 years and their six children. He also enjoys biking, fishing and hiking.

Heu may be reached in Dinuba at 559-595-9890 and in Kingsburg at (559) 897-6610.
