Two Former Hanford Family Practice Residents Join Adventist Health / Community Care

HANFORD/LEMOORE – Drs. Evelyn Gomez and Michelle Keeter, both former Hanford Family Practice Residency physicians, are caring for patients at Adventist Health / Community Care clinics.

Dr. Evelyn Gomez

Dr. Gomez, a board-certified family medicine physician, is caring for patients at Community Care – Home Garden, and will begin caring for patients at Community Care - Hanford Primary in the Fall. Dr. Gomez grew up in El Salvador, where she practiced medicine for two years. She then came to the United States to study under the University of California at Los Angeles International Medical Graduate Program and completed residency training at Loma Linda University and in Hanford. Dr. Michelle Keeter

Dr. Keeter has joined Community Care – Hanford Primary and Lemoore. The family medicine physician earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from University of California at Davis, then attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Growing up in Smith River, Calif., Dr. Keeter witnessed her family struggle with heart disease and diabetes, which she says are common conditions among Native Americans.
