GAMC Therapy & Wellness Center Receives Daily News Readers Choice Award

Awards & Recognition

Glendale Adventist Medical Center's Therapy & Wellness Center has once again been voted Best by the Los Angeles Daily News Readers Choice awards for 2015!

Throughout the last century, the 515-bed hospital has stayed on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in health care. This year, GAMC celebrates 110 years of community service, and its mission remains the same: to share God’s love by promoting healing and wellness for the whole person. The Therapy & Wellness Center provides key outpatient physical rehabilitation services, sports medicine programs and a variety of wellness classes focusing on disease prevention. The staff is made up of accredited and licensed physical therapists and athletic trainers with advanced certifications and specialties, such as hand specialists, certified orthopedic specialists, and certified sports therapists and strengthening and conditioning specialists.

“We are honored to receive the readers choice recognition,” said Marion Watson, director of rehabilitation services. “Our entire staff including our physicians, nurses, associates and administration have worked hard to keep patient care and outcomes as our primary focus. It’s because of the high skill level and personal attention given to each patient that our hospital has been able to accomplish this, and the reason we have received numerous accreditations, certifications and awards from many organizations.”

The 20,000-square-foot Glendale Adventist Medical Center Therapy & Wellness Center is located at 2560 Colorado Blvd. in Eagle Rock, CA 90041. Open Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM to 7 PM, Friday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM. For more information, call (323) 255-5409.
