Health Care Services Expanding in Selma


SELMA – Adventist Health / Community Care – Selma Central welcomes Drs. Richard Garabedian, a well-known chiropractor in the area, and Nancy N. Doi, Psy.D.

Dr. Richard Garabedian:

Dr. Garabedian used to offer chiropractic care at Adventist Health from 2006-2009.

“I’m happy to once again care for patients at the clinic,” says Dr. Garabedian. “This will allow me to provide services to as many people as I can.”

Dr. Garabedian grew up in Fowler. He graduated cum laude from California State University, Fresno, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration-marketing. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, West in San Jose, again graduating magna cum laude and class salutatorian.

Dr. Garabedian speaks English and Spanish. He recently won the Selma Enterprise’s Reader’s Choice Award for Best Chiropractor in 2014, an honor he also received in 2011.

Dr. Nancy N. Doi:

Dr. Doi is offering care to trauma survivors and those with psychological issues.

“My father passed away during my senior year of high school,” she says. “Having counselors and people available to support me during that time made me want to do the same for others.”

Dr. Doi was born and raised in Kingsburg. She earned a Master of Science in applied psychology and bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno, and earned a psychology degree from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus.

She was a senior staff psychologist at a children’s center in Fresno, where she provided individual, group and family therapy. Most recently, she conducted psychological evaluations to test for autism and significant developmental delays.
