Two New Providers Join Lemoore Clinic

Physicians

LEMOORE – Adventist Health / Community Care - Lemoore welcomes two new health care providers. Dr. Lance Pulliam is a certified sports chiropractor and Neisy Alvarez is a board-certified physician assistant.

Dr. Pulliam has been with Adventist Health for eight years. He was born and raised in Hanford, but moved to Southern California to pursue his career. He has bachelor’s degrees in physiology and biology from University of California at Santa Barbara, and a certificate from Palmer Chiropractor College in Santa Clara.

“The reason I became interested in chiropractic care was because one of my friends had migraines. He saw many neurologists, but it wasn’t until he saw a chiropractor that he finally felt relief,” says Dr. Pulliam.

The Hanford native enjoys practicing in Lemoore because his family and friends are close by. He also likes the small-town, friendly atmosphere.

Physician Assistant Neisy Alvarez is bringing her experience in respiratory therapy to Lemoore. She has a respiratory therapy degree, but went back to school to become a physician assistant so she could learn more about medicine as a whole.

“A respiratory therapist deals with the lungs, so I was exposed to different illnesses, but working with these patients inspired me to really get to know their diseases,” she says.

Neisy graduated from Loma Linda University’s physician assistant program and is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCP). Before coming to Adventist Health, she practiced at clinics in Bakersfield and Avenal.

“I enjoy working with the population here,” she says. “The people are very humble and appreciative and make you feel needed.”

Neisy is fluent in English and Spanish.

She and Dr. Pulliam may be reached at the Lemoore clinic, 810 East D St., with a phone number of (559) 924-7711.
