Congratulations Tracy Witthoft, March Employee of the Month. Tracy works in Patient Financial Services. She has been with Tillamook Regional Medical Center for four and a half years. From her nomination:

“Tracy is kind and courteous to patients and other staff. Without her, the Plaza lab would come to a standstill most days. She is always willing to help someone in need. She has been the go-to person for any order problems. She is a great help to us all.”

Tracy was born in this hospital, grew up in Tillamook and attended Tillamook High School. She moved away for a while, but eventually she responded to the call of home and ultimately found her way back to the hospital where she was born. “We moved back to Tillamook,” she said. “My husband likes it here, and Tillamook is the perfect place to raise kids.” Tracy and her husband have four kids, 22, 20, 13 and 9, one girl and three boys.

Tracy has held a variety of jobs, but always “working with the public. That’s what I like to do. It’s fun to help other people.” Helping people is what she does all day long for TRMC and she excels at it. “I love working with the patients and all of my coworkers. We’re like a family.”

Tracy has been invaluable working through changes as new clinics have opened and TRMC’s services have expanded. “I tried to learn as much as I could so that I could help people. That’s what I like to do.”Tracy practices TRMC’s mission in her work daily. “I feel that my part of the mission is to help and comfort people when they need it most. When they come here they’re sick and uncomfortable. They don’t feel good. I can help ease their distress.” Congratulations Tracy and thank you for your good work and your generous spirit.
