Adventist Health's Response to Flu Symptoms

In an effort to keep our community safe, Adventist Medical Center is carefully monitoring and assessing the influx of the flu situation in our community on a daily basis. We are working closely with CDC guidelines and the health department to ensure that best practices are in place to ensure the health and safety of patients, visitors and staff.

We have placed signage at all access points of the facility reinforcing this same message with dispensers of antiseptic handrub. Bottles of hand sanitizers are also being distributed at key points throughout the hospital for visitors. (see photos)

We are requesting that visitors not come to the hospital to visit patients if they have the following symptoms:Cough

  • Chills or suspected fever
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Generally not feeling well
We are also reminding the public that it is not too late to get their flu shots.
