SJCH Earns 2013 National Research Corporation 'Path To Excellence' Award for Access to Care

Awards & Recognition San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH) has earned a 2013 Path to Excellence award for its Access to Care and was recently recognized at the 19th Annual International Patient-Centered Care Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland.

National Research Corporation selected Path to Excellence award recipients based on their achievement within categories that patients have identified as being most important to the quality of their care. The winners were selected from the extensive database of National Research hospital customers for their performance over the last four quarters.

SJCH was selected for its top performance in the time period of April 2012 to March 2013 for Access to Care, one of the Eight Dimensions of Patient-Centered Care. This means SJCH had the highest combined percentage of patients rating SJCH positively for Access to Care out of 317 facilities total.
