Wheatland Football Team Makes an Inspiring Donation to the Rideout Cancer Center Patient Holiday Needs

Rideout Press Releases

On Monday, November 4th at 3:30PM, 40 members of the Wheatland Football Team and their coaches will visit the Rideout Cancer Center to present money they raised selling shirts throughout the month of October to benefit the Rideout Cancer Center Discretionary Fund -- and patients with breast cancer.

The entire football team wore "Pink" socks in support of breast cancer awareness at every game during the month of October.

"We're overjoyed by this donation and so proud of these young athletes. Their generosity and kindness is greatly appreciated and admired," said Susan Vague, Administrator at the Rideout Cancer Center.

Thank you Wheatland Football Team, Team Coaches and parents for your generosity and support.
