New Physician Provides Family Medicine and Obstetrical Care in Kerman

KERMAN – Adventist Health / Community Care welcomes board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Monica Araya, who cares for patients at the Kerman Central clinic, 275 S. Madera Ave., Suite 201, in Kerman. Dr. Araya also provides obstetrical care and is fluent in English and Spanish. 

After practicing medicine in Chile where she was born and raised, Dr. Araya has practiced in the Valley in Kingsburg, Selma and Fresno since 1997. From 2003-2005, she served as medical director for Hinds Hospice in Fresno.

"After practicing in private practice settings, I decided to work in a rural clinic to practice the full spectrum of family medicine and help the underserved,” Dr. Araya said. “I find my work in Kerman very rewarding and I love it here.”

Dr. Araya attended medical school at the University of Chile and completed residency training at University of California, San Francisco-Fresno, where she was also chief resident.
