Rideout Health salutes our dedicated nurses - for whom patient care is both a profession and a personal commitment

Rideout Health will observe National Nurses Week May 6 through 12 with a special breakfast and a series of events in honor of the more than 500 Registered Nurses and 400 nursing support staff working at it's various healthcare facilities including: Rideout Memorial Hospital, Fremont Medical Center, Rideout Cancer Center, Rideout Senior Living, Rideout Surgery Center, Rideout Hospice, Home Health, Rideout Occupational Health and throughout our organization.

"Delivering Quality and Innovation" is the theme we will celebrate May 6-12, 2013, as Rideout Health joins health care facilities across the country in recognizing National Nurses Week.

"Every May, we pause to formally celebrate the contributions to our patients and our community," said Rideout Health CEO, Terri Hamilton. "We are reminded daily of just how important nurses are to virtually every aspect of patient care."

Teri Grassau, Chief Nursing Executive stated, "Our nurses are committed professionals who make our not for profit, community health system, a place where healing happens every day. We appreciate all that they do every day and we thank them for their professionalism and dedication to the patients we serve."

Rideout Health is the independent, non-profit, community-based healthcare organization that operates Rideout Memorial Hospital, Fremont Medical Center and other medical facilities around the Yuba-Sutter region. It also is the area's largest non-government employer. In fulfillment of its mission to provide quality healthcare to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance, in 2012 the organization provided nearly $50 million in unreimbursed or free medical care to uninsured or under-insured patients.
