This hip musical comedy follows six young people in the throes of puberty, who are overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, as they learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.

At each performance four audience volunteers are selected and invited on stage to participate in the Bee, making each performance unique, as this portion of the show is unscripted so the characters interact with the volunteers via improve.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is recommended for theatergoers 13 and over. For more information call, 751-4070 or email

The Rideout Health Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making our communities a healthier place to live. Its purpose is to provide financial support to Rideout Health and the people it serves. For more than 100 years, your neighbors - and perhaps generations of your family - have turned to Rideout Health (RH) for their health care, and in return they have contributed generously to help grow programs, services, and to build facilities. The Rideout Health Foundation nurtures that long-standing partnership with the community.

Rideout Health is the independent, non-profit, community-based healthcare organization that operates Rideout Memorial Hospital, Fremont Medical Center and other medical facilities around the Yuba-Sutter region. It also is the area's largest non-government employer. In fulfillment of its mission to provide quality healthcare to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance, in 2012 the organization provided more than nearly $50 million in unreimbursed or free medical care to uninsured or under-insured patients.
