Rideout Press Releases

The Yuba-Sutter Regional Arts Council has joined forces with Anthony Emmolo's Art For The Heart project to raise funds to purchase echocardiography equipment for Rideout Memorial Hospital. This will be done through an auction of fine art and other refined items.

State-of-the-art echocardiography equipment will enable Rideout staff to deliver superior image quality to physicians when identifying potential heart disease. It is also the preferred cardiac equipment used by pediatricians.

Artist, Anthony R. Emmolo is on a mission to use his artistry to bring people together to the aid of the community. "The gallery world is exciting, and I do enjoy selling in that form, but service is a passion, and it feeds me in a different way," says the artist. To this aim, Emmolo has created what he considers to be his life's project. "Art For The Heart." His project comes as thanks for his successful open-heart surgery at the age of 23 months.
