
Butler Named President of Tillamook Medical Center
Butler has more than 25 years of experience leading large and rural-sized health care facilities. He currently serves as CEO for North Canyon Medical Center, a critical access hospital in Gooding, Idaho. Here he demonstrated strategic alignment and accountable leadership.
“David has tremendous operational experience that will help facilitate the continued growth of Tillamook Regional Medical Center,” said Russell. “He is deeply committed to the mission of the hospital and is excited to provide leadership in clinical and operational excellence to communities along the Oregon coast.
Prior to his current position, Butler was president/CEO of Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tenn. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Long-Term Healthcare Administration, an associate of science degree in nursing and a masters of business administration from Southern Adventist University.

Gina Seufert, vice-president of Physician and Clinic Services at TRMC will be the interim CEO filling in the gap between Larry Davy’s departure at the end of the year and the arrival of Butler in early February.
Butler and his wife, Luminita, along with their 10-year-old son Nathan and 8-year-old daughter Nicole, are looking forward to becoming active members in the Tillamook community.
