New Diagnostic Imaging Software Delivers Greater Clarity

According to Steven Daugherty, Director of Diagnostic Services, at Ukiah Valley Medical Center, “Mendocino Radiology has upgraded its Hitachi AIRIS II open MRI software. This upgrade improves the image quality, resolution and through put speed allowing our radiologists a faster turnaround time and a clearer picture to help our radiologists in diagnosing.”

Something which Taylor Jordan, M.D., radiologist at UVMC appreciates, “The quality and resolution are much clearer.” Dr. Jordan continued, “This is the only open MRI in town and provides outstanding images of the spine and muscular skeletal system. Making this an excellent facility to have your knees, spine, and shoulders diagnosed in. Open MRI is also an alternative for patients who tend to be claustrophobic and find it uncomfortable to be in closed, confined spaces.”

If you are in need of an MRI and dislike confined spaces, contact Mendocino Radiology at (707)-468-9335 to schedule an appointment for an open MRI.
