Napa Valley Vintners provides ongoing support to St. Helena Hospital

ST. HELENA, California —

Since June of 1981, Napa Valley Vintners’ annual community fundraiser, Auction Napa Valley, The American Wine Classic has raised over $100 million to benefit health care, affordable housing and youth development for residents of the Napa Valley and surrounding communities.

This year, St. Helena Hospital celebrates the ongoing generosity of the Napa Valley Vintners by acknowledging $10 million in cumulative support that has touched thousands of lives by helping invest in the areas of advanced imaging, cancer care, emergency services, family birthing, heart and vascular care, mental health, nuclear and radiological medicine, occupational health, respiratory services, senior outreach, surgery departments, and program support for the St. Helena Women's Center. The grant funding for this year will be used to offset medical costs for the underinsured and uninsured members of our community.

"We are grateful for the continued support of Napa Valley Vintners and Auction Napa Valley. Their ongoing generosity allows St. Helena Hospital to continue to provide quality, whole person healthcare to all who seek to Live Younger Longer in our community," said Terry Newmyer, President and CEO of St. Helena Hospital.

"Napa Valley is one of those rare communities that not only enjoys a great quality of life, but also demonstrates a high commitment to ensuring the same standards for future generations by investing in preservation, education, community services and quality healthcare. It is with extreme gratitude that we acknowledge Napa Valley Vintners and Auction Napa Valley for over 30 years of support to St. Helena Hospital." says David Duncan, Chairman, St. Helena Hospital Foundation
