WWGH Emergency Center Access Changes During Construction

Construction on the new Emergency Center at Walla Walla General Hospital is underway, resulting in some changes to how patients will access hospital services.

Beginning November 17 the existing Emergency Center entrance and waiting room will be closed as construction begins on that area, though complete services will continue in the ER. During this time, patients and the ambulance service can access emergency services through a temporary covered entrance located at the corner of the building, just up from the former entrance. It will be clearly identified as the ER entrance and internal signage will direct patients down the hall to the Emergency Center registration area.

Patients registering for outpatient radiology services will now register just off the main lobby and should enter through the main entrance, rather than what used to be the Emergency Center entrance.

Construction on the new Emergency Center will be completed in phases to ensure that a full range of quick, quality services are available throughout the entire process.
