Walla Walla General Hospital Deploys Free Smartphone App, Connecting Users to Medical Information

Patients now have immediate, on-the-go access to symptom, disease, medical procedures and providers with the iTriage healthcare decision tool

WALLA WALLA, Wash.—Walla Walla General Hospital is launching iTriage this week, a smartphone application that allows consumers to locate vital medical information and local medical services on their smartphone. The free application, which is a result of a partnership with Healthagen®, can be downloaded for the iPhone®, iPod touch®, or Android™ smartphones through app stores. Palm®, BlackBerry® or any other Internet-enabled device can access iTriage at www.itriagehealth.com.

The iTriage app enables consumers to search medical symptoms, learn about the possible causes and find appropriate locations for treatment, as well as physicians specializing in those areas. WWGH is the first hospital in Eastern Washington to utilize the interactive application on mobile devices and their website.
