Adventist Health/Medical Group Welcomes Family Practice Physician Carolyn O'Connor


WALLA WALLA, Wash.-- Adventist Health/Medical Group is pleased to welcome Family Practice doctor Carolyn O'Connor to its growing team of physicians. Dr. O'Connor has been practicing in Walla Walla for several years and will be located at 1111 S. Second Avenue starting in October.

Dr. O'Connor provides a full spectrum of family practice services. She has trained extensively in emergency medicine and urgent care, women's health, pediatrics and inpatient internal medicine. Dr. O'Connor received her MD degree at the Oregon Health Sciences University and completed her residency at the Ventura County Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Dr. O'Connor has done research with Dr. Gary R. Young at the Department of Emergency Medicine, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Portland, Ore., on prospective sampling of serum cardiac enzymes and was published in "Annals of Emergency Medicine." In 2005, the Family Medicine Spokane Rural Training Track Program, Goldendale, named her "Preceptor of the Year."

In her free time, Dr. O'Connor enjoys gardening, swimming, traveling with her family and BMX biking.
