San Joaquin Community Hospital's Marketing Team Wins Six National Health Care Marketing Awards

The San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH) Marketing Team has won six national health care marketing awards for their work in the 2008. The department responsible for promoting the service lines and initiatives at San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH) now has a few bragging rights of their own.

Here is a complete list of the awards, distributed by the Aster Awards and the Healthcare Marketing Report, respectively.

Aster Awards

  • Gold Award for Virtual Tour in the category of “Room Tours”
  • Bronze Award for external hospital image in “Hospital Photo”
  • Bronze award for Health Matters Magazine in “Magazine Publications Series”
  • Bronze Award for Lobby Open House Invitation in “Invitations”

Health Care Marketing Report
  • Bronze Award for Bakersfield First’s ad in “Magazine Ad”
  • Bronze Award for Maternity Care Brochure in “Brochure”

To qualify for the awards, the team submitted professional samples for each of the pertinent categories this spring. In addition to the SJCH Marketing Team, many individuals and organizations played a vital part in creating these award-winning pieces. SJCH would like to thank Mike Willis and Willis Design, Robert McDuff and McDuff Graphics and Marketing, Coffey Communications, Bakersfield Magazine, The Mize Agency and Eye Street Productions for their contributions.
