Beatris Sanders

A Shafter native, Beatris Espericueta Sanders comes to us from the Kern County Farm Bureau, where she has been the executive director since 2014. She also previously worked in finance for the global investment fund, McKinsey & Company in New York City.

We welcome Bea’s experience as a member of the Leadership Bakersfield Advisory Council as well as her membership with the Kern Chapter of California Women for Agriculture. Forming and maintaining our local connections is certainly key to partnering with this community.

In 2002, Bea earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology from Northern Arizona University, where she was named to the National Dean’s List. Bea also just named “Latina Leader of the Year“ by the Kern County Latina Leaders. She will be recognized for this achievement at an awards banquet scheduled for the end of July.

Bea and her husband of 12 years, Brandon, are the proud parents of two children: Sophia, 10; and Xavier, 7. Bea also enjoys training for and competing in marathons.
