Ronald Reynoso, MD

Sharlet BriggsRonald Reynoso, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Adventist Health Bakersfield and Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley.

As CMO, Dr. Reynoso serves as administrative liaison among hospital administration, the Governing Board, outside agencies and the Medical Staff. He also helps ensure high quality healthcare for all patients treated at AHBD or AHTV. Dr. Reynoso brings with him more than 16 years of clinical and administrative experience. Colleagues describe him as an excellent physician, who supports collaboration among healthcare teams, medical staff leadership and hospital management.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2002, Dr. Reynoso completed his internship and residency at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York. Dr. Reynoso is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Preventative Medicine with a subspecialty in Clinical Informatics.

He earned his Master’s of Medical Management (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University and has a Lean Healthcare Yellow Belt Certification from Purdue University. In his free time, Dr. Reynoso enjoys family time, reading, music and traveling.
