Strategic Partners

Adventist Health’s goal is to advance the quality of care in our communities as well as improve patient experience through technology and services. To accomplish this, we have strategic partnerships, alliances and an array of vendors encompassing many business arrangements.

Adventist Health partnered with Huron to standardize, modernize and consolidate our revenue cycle functions. Together we deployed a comprehensive, sustainable approach to achieving revenue cycle improvements critical to advancing our long-term strategic vision. This effort was supported by employee training which drove lasting culture change and accountability. Our patients, communities and employees, will benefit by this shared vision that advances the quality of care and improves the patient experience.

For the next five years, Adventist Health and GE Healthcare will partner to maximize the capacity of our system’s clinical assets and leverage them to improve patient care delivery. The collaboration will provide health system leaders with better information through advanced analytics and reduce process variation to improve the quality and reliability of care.

“We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with GE Healthcare, a company that brings access to market-leading resources, expertise, advanced analytics, and proprietary tools,” said John Beaman, chief business officer, Adventist Health. “This is an opportunity for us to improve service operations, provide more alignment across our service program, and increase utilization of clinical assets to provide higher quality care.”

In 2013, a partnership was formed with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) to provide facilities and real estate management services at more than 550 properties, representing in excess of 8 million square feet. This allows Adventist Health to focus on our core mission of providing quality health care, while leveraging JLL’s knowledge and expertise. JLL benefits our workforce, our patients and visitors to our facilities. The working relationship ensures service excellence, streamlines and standardizes facilities management and reduces costs.

Adventist Health is a long-standing member of Premier, Inc., a health care performance alliance that aims to improve the efficiency of health care facilities. This partnership allows our facilities and affiliates to realize significant supply chain costs, while improving performance.

We also partner with other health care systems sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist church in various areas to advance our missions and leverage respective strengths in delivering high quality, innovative care. Building alliances with established hospitals and health systems to create regional provider/payer networks, as well as aligning physician practices through regional clinical integration, ensures the health needs of the community are being met effectively, while providing a high level of care.
