Personal background: Married with two children. Enjoys weightlifting, traveling, movies, gaming and reading Christian books on spiritual growth and leadership such as those authored by Dr. Myles Munroe.

Why I enjoy the Tulare Family Medicine Residency program: First and foremost, I believe in servant leadership. What better way to serve patients than to pour myself into our resident physicians, as they care for our community? I would say that seeing the residents grow and develop into their own is the most rewarding experience. I feel that I am growing with them. Family medicine affords us the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of patient care, from their spiritual and mental health to their social and family support. I believe in educating patients, which also empowers them. The ability to prevent disease with diet and lifestyle management is something that I am very passion about and strongly encourage.
