Community Partnership

​Grant Requests

Adventist Health would like to be your partner in bringing quality health to the communities we serve in the central San Joaquin Valley. In line with our mission to live God's love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope, we have a limited number of mini-grants to award to organizations that meet our criteria. The value of these grants ranges from $100 to $1,000, and they are awarded based on the availability of funds and alignment with our mission and values.

We are a not-for-profit, faith-based organization that cares for patients through more than 60 sites in Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera and Kern counties. The network's hospitals in Hanford, Reedley, Selma and Tulare; over 40 medical offices; and other service sites experience more than 1 million patient interactions a year through more than 3,500 associates. Our values are integrity, compassion, respect and excellence. All partnerships should be in line with our network's mission and values.

Grant Guidelines

I. Partnership Considerations

We value partnerships within the many communities we serve, particularly those events and organizations that further our network's mission and values, with objectives such as:

  • Promoting or improving health education, prevention and wellness among all age groups.
  • Addressing special or social needs, such as those concerning the homeless, abused, elderly, youth, poor or underserved.
  • Promoting and supporting community and spiritual growth.

Events and organizations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

We will not consider partnerships with:

  • Events and organizations that promote products or services that are not aligned with our mission, vision and values.
  • Events and organizations that may damage our network's image in our communities.
  • Events and organizations that promote unhealthy lifestyles, such as alcohol, tobacco, gambling, pornography, etc.
  • Individual/s, employee/s of the Adventist Health / Central Valley Network and/or their family members.

In most cases, we will not make more than one contribution per year to a particular organization, and we will not consider capital requests over $1,000.

II. Partnership Grant Request Procedure (Review and Approval)

  • Complete the online Partnership Request Form at least 90 days before your due date.
  • All requests will be reviewed and prioritized based on the sponsorship criteria and the budget available.
  • The contact person listed on the Partnership Request Form will be notified via phone or e-mail regarding the status of their request within two weeks after submission of the completed form.
